Jackdaw Web Design – Now A Full Service Agency

I’m delighted to be able to tell you that after years of searching for the right associates, I can now proudly call Jackdaw Web Design a full service design agency.

What does that mean?

Simply put, it now means that I, together with my associates, can handle every aspect of your online marketing needs. From designing your brand right through to getting your website noticed by the search engines and bring you to the attention of potential customers.

My new associates are….

Amy Purdie of Whiteacres Design

Amy must be doing something right. She’s celebrating 10 years in business this year. Given that 95% of businesses fail in the first five years, it says a lot for Amy that she’s still going from strength to strength.

A highly qualified graphic designer, Amy’s eye for design and business expertise makes her one of the foremost brand experts in the North East.

Most people consider branding as a bit of logo design, fonts, colours and maybe staff uniforms. Amy helps business owners understand that brand identity and brand consistency are both wider and deeper than that.

Amy also works on illustrations, print media and of course contributes to my beautiful websites for many clients. If a picture is worth a thousand words, Amy’s graphics on your website are priceless.

You may commission Amy just to design your logo – and that’s ok, better than many business owners manage to do. Definitely work with her to develop your website images, it makes my job so much easier and your website much more effective.

And, you could work with Amy on your Brand Adventure, with coaching, training and support though her Brand Success Club.

Sue Todd Photography

On location at the Urban Angel Therapy Centre. Sue Todd from Sue Todd Photography.

There’s an abundance of photographers out there in the world. Many of them very good and some superb at what they do.  Sue, in my opinion, is up there with the ‘superb’.

Like me, Sue worked in IT for many years. She’s worked on general e-commerce projects through to really hi-tech computer simulations using haptic and Virtual Reality. She even got to play with NASA in San Francisco!

So you know that when it comes to photographs for your website, she has more than a bit of clue about what works.

As well as IT, Sue has worked very successfully in the catering industry. From Lumley Castle Hotel to running her own successful catering kitchen in Essex. Which must be why she is such a superb food photographer. Her work has appeared in glossy magazines, in-house menus and countless websites of course, including several of mine.

Whilst food photography is a speciality of hers, she’s also superb at product shots too. In fact, she offers the whole package with excellent photographs of people, products and pets.

Now you can understand why, when I’m asked to recommend a photographer, Sue is at the top of that list. Please don’t underestimate the power of great images on your website. Google loves them, but so do people.

And let’s all remember, it’s the people who are your potential customers.

Lesley Renwick of UberElla Media

Lesley has been in business forever (well, since 2005 this time around) and in several different industries. A content marketing strategist and copywriter she can help you plan your content marketing to achieve your business objectives. Then, if you want her to, she can write content that gets you noticed.

She writes web copy that is loved by search engines. We’ve developed websites together that have been noticed and lifted to page one by Google within days.

Lesley’s ‘thing’ is research. Whatever business sector you work in, Lesley can find its pulse.
