Yet widgets, blocks and modules can be amazingly useful and let you do all sorts of clever stuff without knowing a single line of code. Yes, they can seem really confusing at first but they're just bits of functionality that you can plop in various places. And, like everything in life, sometimes you get good ones, sometimes they don't work quite the way you'd expect.
